Last week, I got the opportunity to attend the Pynk Power Brunch hosted by Pynk Magazine, sponsored by Cointreau. The brunch was held at Brasserie Saint Marc in the lower east side of Manhattan and it was epic! I wore a black wrap top from Sammy B, oversized kaftan dress from H&M, denim shorts from H&M and Amina Muaddi orange glass Lupita wedge heeled sandals.
Upon entering we were given flowers and a card that stated “We wanted to ensure that you received your flowers while you could smell them. Welcome to our PYNK Power Brunch powered by Cointreau.”
It was not only amazing to meet such beautiful like-minded women of color but to be seen and to be celebrated was really something special. And let me tell you, the ladies and I had a time, OK! The food was amazing, drinks specular and the energyyyy was on a 1000%.
For appetizers we had house chips served with 3 options of dip, marcona almond romesco, whipped blue cheese + date spread and beetroot tzatziki 🤤. The first course was a delicious salad followed by the 5th sin sliders, avocado toast and a fire roasted summer vegetable frittata. We ended the meal with mini lemon ricotta pancakes.
We were served 3 specialty Cointreau based cocktails specifically crafted for the event, Big pynk energy, Think pynk and Pynk me please.
I swear the way they had these drinks flowing, it felt like they were on tap, lol.
