Studded converse sneakers are back

I’ve been wanting to make myself a pair of studded converse sneakers for some time now. For those of you who don’t know, studded chucks were the first products that launched the Created by Fortune website. At the time, studding was just becoming a huge trend in the fashion industry and was everywhere. I took this opportunity to monopolize on the trend and started studding everything.

I sold countless pairs of sneakers but decided to retire this style around 2014 when the market became too over saturated. Well, fast forward to quarantine 2020, tons of time on my hands and an urge to create uninhibitedly. I stopped making excuses and took the time to make myself a pair and I’m so glad that I did.

Each stud is inserted by hand, a process that is extremely tedious but gets the end result of even and compact studding.

I paired my studded converse sneakers with the Cos Versatile Tie-Up Top and Apartment 202 cargo pants. Unfortunately, the lighting in my apartment sucks and I didn’t get a good full body shot.
